George McKay
President, Senior Project Engineer
Returning to JML Engineering in 2019, George McKay has 20 years of experience in conceptual design, detailed design and contract administration of industrial, institutional, structural, civil, and marine infrastructure projects. He has been the overall Project Manager for many of these projects especially in recent years.
Mr. McKay has experience both as a Design Engineer and a Project Manager involving projects entailing: structural design, evaluation, rehabilitation and condition assessment of existing structures, foundation design and evaluation, formwork/falsework design, storm water management/site drainage, septic field design, demolition of structures, bridge design, inspection and evaluation, wharf/breakwater design oil containment, roofing, fall arrest and life safety. George also has experience in the use of S-Frame, STAAD and RISA 3D for the design and evaluation of structures as well as HEC-RAS for hydraulic design of bridges and culverts.
